I have been waiting for a momentous event in Connor's life and he finally created one...he flipped himself over today!!! I was(pretending to) run on the treadmill downstairs while watching the video monitor...one second he was sleeping peacefully on his tummy and the next second he was looking straight at me lying on his back! I ran upstairs and he looked so stunned...like..."what the hell just happened here?" I almost cried! I picked him up and hugged him like he was going out of style. Then I came back to reality and realized that if I didn't stop cheering and laughing and lay him back down - I was going to have to rock him to sleep for the third time today (and it was only 11am)...so back down he went. I of course, proceeded to call my husband and my my father to tell them the great news. No, I did not call every one of my closest girlfriends...I emailed them one by one because I knew they would be at work.
I may or may not have just taken a break from three hours of watching him to see if he'll do it again.
