I have totally come to terms with the fact that when 5 o'clock rolls around - you are no longer interested in looking at my face! And who could blame you? You usually start getting cranky right around that time and then low and behold, your hero and mine steps through the door. I love seeing your little face light up (and your dimples explode) when your dad comes home, when you were not far from tears just seconds before. It's equally heart melting to see your dad's face light up when he sees his little man...and lastly, Mommy's face lights up seeing both her boys so happy to be exactly where they are.Dad has been working 10 to 12 hour days for the past two weeks. He works so hard for you and I. Most people who work that hard would come home in a bad mood - but not your Dad! He comes home with a big smile and open arms for the kid hand-off. This picture was taken today, about 2 minutes after Daddy got home from work. You wanted to show him that you can stand up all by yourself on your rocker. You're such a big boy...and Dad's such a good man. I'm such a lucky woman!
