Every time Connor does something that causes some sort of reaction (i.e. touching buttons on the TV results in channels changing, volume changing
etc.) he does this...

The other day, I was changing Connor's diaper. He had a number two. I know this seems like too much information but it is relevant for the story. I had just finished cleaning him up and I couldn't find his baby powder cream, so I put on his baby lotion instead. They both smell good - what's the problem? "What are you doing," Mike asked. "Using baby cream adds moisture, baby powder takes the moisture away. You shouldn't use baby cream on his bum. You're defeating the purpose".

I knew that...

I guess that's what you get when you have a 'hands on' daddy for a husband!

Happy Halloween

Halloween was an interesting one in our household this year. I say interesting-Mike might say 'busy'. I came down with the flu on Tuesday night so Mike came home from work on Wednesday at lunch and has been playing the role of stay at home dad ever since. And let me tell you, he does it extremely well. Him and Connor have had the time of their lives and I have gotten a lot of rest. Mike has not only taken care of Connor these past two days but he's taken care of me as well. He hasn't let me lift a finger. I know I say this over and over on here, but it never ceases to amaze how amazing Mike is. We are so lucky.

I'm a little bummed that I wasn't more myself for Connor's first Halloween but next year will be a lot of fun.
