Healthy Cookies

I made these last night and between the three of us, we've done some serious damage. They are delicious and quite healthy...I left out the macadamia nuts ('cause I didn't have any) and they were still delish.

Ingredients:

1 large banana

1/2 cup butter

3/4 cup brown sugar

1 cup of oatmeal

1/2 cup white flour

3/4 cup wholewheat flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup macadamia nuts

1 apple


Directions:Mash banana and mix with butter and brown sugar. In separate bowl mix dry ingredients and then mix them together. Add the nuts and apples last. Spoon onto greased cookie sheet and bake in oven at 325 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Prep time: 30 to 45 minutes Makes about 20 to 30 cookies
