No more monkeys sleeping in my bed!

When we were away, we had a king size bed. It was glorious. What more could a happily married couple ask for then the ability to sprawl out in bed and still not have to touch each other?

But then we made a mistake.

We let squirmy-McSquirmypants sleep with us. Bad idea!

Since we've been home, Connor has woken up numerous times a night. He walks, sleepy eyed, straight into our bedroom, straight to my side of the bed (why my side? WHY???) grabs onto my shirt, or my hair, or my skin and pulls his skinny little self up onto our bed. It's a queen size bed. It is not glorious. It is small. And even smaller when there's a squirmy midget in the middle of a 6 foot 3 man and myself. So anyway, last night at 4am, when I asked him why he was in our room, he said "because I love you". This morning, when I woke up, I turned the lights on. He immediately climbed right out of our bed walked--sleepy eyed--back into his bed, while mumbling "my bed more tumfy (comfy) then yurs bed".

I feel used. And I want my bed back. For a whole night. Please and thank you.
